Jonnie is no stranger to Bat Makumba. The band was literally formed in his SOMA studio, which he co-inhabited with pal Alex Koberle. Proof that Bay Area natives actually exist, Jonnie has been spotted over the years guitaring and keyboarding with local bands like Psychefunkapus, Bluebeard, and The Cheeseballs, and most recently the SF theatrical run of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
